About the Role
The Finance Summer Intern will support the organization’s financial operations by assisting with reporting, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting processes. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit finance and offers the opportunity to contribute to work that directly supports the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation
- Support budgeting processes and expense tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and financial compliance activities as needed
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within financial operations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in nonprofit or mission-driven financial work

Neuse Enterprises Inc. is a private, non-profit organization offering planned vocational rehabilitation programs for the developmentally, emotionally, and/or physically disabled adult who cannot at present function in competitive employment in the community. The facility provides a screening/evaluation program, a work training program, and assist in placement for consumers so that they may become self-sustaining individuals.
