Position Summary
The Marketing & Operations Intern will support both external communications and internal program operations. This dynamic role offers hands-on experience in marketing, community engagement, and operational improvement within a growing, mission-driven organization. The intern will help enhance visibility, strengthen partnerships, and improve organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies
- Create content for social media, website, and outreach materials
- Support branding and design of promotional materials
- Assist with event planning and community engagement efforts
- Conduct market research to identify partnership opportunities
Operations & Program Support
- Support operational improvement initiatives across programs
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and tracking program outcomes
- Help develop tools, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency
Compliance & Quality Improvement
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance tracking
- Support quality improvement initiatives and data collection
- Help maintain program documentation and training records
Community & Business Engagement
- Assist with outreach to local businesses and partners
- Support development of presentations and partnership materials
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and community initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, or workforce development
About Neuse Enterprises Inc.
Neuse Enterprises Inc. was organized for the purpose of providing personnel, services and facilities to deliver a program of rehabilitation for developmentally disabled workers. The organizations also provides such individuals with remunerative employment or occupational rehabilitation activities of an educational or therapeutic nature. These services are designed to provide vocational services for developmentally disabled clients, whose physical or mental impairment substantially limits their capacity to be productive.
Neuse Enterprises Inc. is a private, non-profit organization offering planned vocational rehabilitation programs for the developmentally, emotionally, and/or physically disabled adult who cannot at present function in competitive employment in the community. The facility provides a screening/evaluation program, a work training program, and assist in placement for consumers so that they may become self-sustaining individuals.
